This is a classic example of advertising that got into my head. I’ve seen all kinds of adverts for this stuff as well as glowing reviews for it online, so I decided to give it a try. I don’t have long hair now, it’s rather on the medium side, but I do think it’s enough to see if I can get rid of my usual frizzy bush.
Packaging:
The products comes in a plastic bottle that contains 200 ml, with a small cap so you don’t pour too much at once. I like the bright orange and pink colors used for the Dream Long line because I usually like to have colorful products in the bathroom.
Texture:
Well, it says right on the bottle that it’s a water so it does look and feel like water. A very scented water, but I like the scent and I usually don’t mind using scented products on my hair. I actually quite enjoy it.
Ingredients:

Price and accessibility:
L’Oreal products are widely available in all kinds of beauty stores and online shops, so it’s easy to find this line as well. I got mine from an online shop for about 9 euros. It’s not exactly on the affordable side when it comes to hair care, but it’s also not expensive. For something that works, I don’t mind spending on the 10 euros mark.
My overall opinion:
This is like a conditioner because you still have to rinse it out, but it’s a very interesting product. I pour the liquid in my hand, I work it in my hair, only from the mid-length down, and then I rinse it out. I find that it works once I start rinsing it because it makes the hair feel soft and silky right away.
I don’t think it’s like a miracle product because my hair is still a little frizzy, but since I used it in combination with a shampoo that seems to drying for my likin (more on that in a future review), I do think it does perform very good as a quick conditioning treatment. So yes, I would recommend it an not only for dry hair because it’s very lightweight and it doesn’t make my hair feel oily, like in the case of thick, rich conditioners.
