Used-up and tested #44 – beauty products leaving my collection

Considering the week I had so far, I really didn’t think I would be able to make this post but here we are. I’m just going to keep it short and simple because I’m not really in the mood, I just want to get this done.

Hair care empties

Pantene Pro-V Colour Protect shampoo – it was a an alright shampoo, but nothing that made me want to repurchase it. I don’t know, I always seem to find it hard to use the same hair care product over and over again.

Cien Superfruit & Volume conditioner – this was a summer limited edition conditioner with a very pleasant berries scent. It was ok, but it could have been more nourishing for my hair.

Bath and body empties

Balea Dead Sea Salt shower gel – I don’t think it was a limited edition product, but it’s something new in the Balea line. It has a very fresh mint and lime scent, which I think is more suitable for the summer.

Avon Planet Spa Aromatherapy Energise hand cream – with Italian bergamot and lemon scent. It was a very nice hand cream with a pleasant scent. I like most Avon hand creams, and they’re affordable, so I don’t mind using them.

Nude by Rihanna Fragrance Mist – I Liked the scent, it’s sexy and sweet, but, of course, it doesn’t have any longevity what so ever.

Elmiplant Rose Body Spray Deodorant – I liked the one with clay much more. This has a nice rose scent, but it turns into something else on my skin and I prefer the other variant much more.

Makeup and nail polish decluttered products

One of the reasons why I didn’t opt for a makeup advent calendar this year is because I find that most of the products I rarely use.

essence My Power Is Water eyeshadow palette – I love essence products, but blue eyeshadows don’t look good on me and that’s why I rarely use this palette. I had it since last December, but I barely touched it, so I don’t see the point in keeping it any longer.

I also decluttered some nail polishes that I don’t wear often because I have plenty of reds and I don’t gravitate towards vampy or golden shades now, I prefer something more natural or sparkly colors for special occasions. Therefore, I got rid of some nail polishes because they will go bad if I don’t use them: Douglas Stay & Care Gel in the shade Sublime Song, essence holly jolly x-mas nail mini nail polish, essence meet me under the mistletoe mini nail polish and essence santa baby mini nail polish (all three from an essence advent calendar).

Samples

Farmec Gerovital H3 Evolution Perfect Look Ultra Active Radiance Cream – I really liked this one a lot and I want to purchase the full size to try it out because it does make the skin look radiant and it has a blurring effect.

Farmec Gerovital H3 Derma + Premium Care Liftin Booster Night Cream – it was ok, I didn’t see anything special just after ine use.

Farmec Aslavital Intensive Contour Lift Cream for eyes and lips – Again, after only two uses I can’t say that I noticed anything special, but the Aslavital line is a very nice one.

That was it for the month of november. I will probably have a few empties in December with the advent calendar and all. Starting from tomorrow, I get to open my advent calendar so we’ll talk more about the little gems I find inside.
