Used-up and tested #45 – beauty products leaving my collection

Since at the end of December I didn’t have that many empties, I decided to wait for another month. So, here are the empties for two veeeery long months, December 2022 and January 2023. These are products that I have used up and didn’t review and a few makeup products that needed to be decluttered.

Shower gels

Palmolive Wellness Nourish shower gel with shea butter extract and essential oil – it was a shower gel with a very nice scent, that had more of a cream texture and it was also gentle on the skin.

Palmolive Italian Gardens shower gel – a very thick shower gel with a yummy lemon scent. It would have been more suitable for the summer, but the citrusy scent was refreshing and energizing.

Carrefour Ceder shower gel – this was a generic shower gel that I got because I thought it would have a fresh scent. Surprisingly, the quality wasn’t even bad such a cheap product, but the scent was definitely masculine, so I used it more on my feet.

Body care products

Nivea MicellAIR Skin Breathe Urban Skin Detox Micellar Water – this is another big bottle of the Nivea micellar water, similar to the one I used last time (I think it was the one for sensitive skin). It was good, but I think I enjoy a more oily formula, like the Nivea micellar water with rose extract.

Garnier Mineral body spray – it contains hyaluronic acid and it was nice enough, but out of the drugstore deodorants I prefer the Nivea or the Dove ones.

Oriflame FeetUp Advanced Deep Exfoliating foot cream – this was an exfoliating cream with tiny abrasive particles. It was actually pretty nice for the heels. I used it once or twice a week and I noticed it did make a difference.

Avon Encanto Intense hand cream – a regular hand cream that doesn’t feel greasy on the hands and it has a yummy scent.

Makeup products

Too Faced Juicy Fruit Comfort Lip Glaze – I just don’t like how the color looks on me and now the consistency has changed and I think it’s gone bad. Bye, sister!

essence I Love Stage eyeshadow base – this one is empty so it has to go. It’s a decent eyeshadow base, but nothing to write home about.

essence Cover Stick – I used this one for my blemishes and pimples, it’s not for the under eye area because it’s drying.

Balea Cocos & Pitaya lip balm – I had this one since a few months believe it or not. I need to use lip balm more.

Cien Calcium base coat – it’s crap to put it simple. It makes the nail polish chip faster, which is something that a base coat should definitely not do.

Face masks and samples

Balea Be Icy sheet mask – it’s a regular face mask with hyaluronic acid and cotton extract, but it had a drawing of a polar bear on it, so it was very cute.

Balea Make a Wish sheet mask – I can’t remember what this one contained, but it was also just a regular moisturizing face mask.

Balea Sugar Scrub – a nice sugar scrub with orange scent for the face and the lips. I did enjoy using it.

Balea Sweet Vanilla face mask – a regular hydrating face mask with vanilla extract.

Balea Hydrogel eye pads – they were pink, they were glittery and they felt cooling on the eyes. Like all the other Balea face masks, I don’t think they do wonders for the skin but they are great for a Saturday night pampering session.

Oriflame Waunt Water Burst Dewy Gel Cream sample – a hydrating face cream with a light texture. The sample was enough for only just one use, so I can’t say that I noticed anything special.

Oriflame So Fever Together Her EDP sample – this was a rather forgettable perfume and it didn’t impress me in a good way or in a bad way.

Oriflame Soul Focus EDT sample – a masculine perfume that also didn’t impress me at all.

Oriflame So Fever Ecstatic Her EDP sample – it was a sweet perfume, but I did like the strong caramel note in this one. It was rather interesting.

Oriflame So Fever Ecstatic Him EDT sample – I don’t know what it is about perfumes for men, but very few impress me. This one at least did have a good longevity.

That was all for the last two months, I did have a small basket full of empties, but mostly were from this last month. Like usual, there were plenty of Balea products in here plus a few other drugstore daily basic care products.
