Yummy treats for the shower: Treaclemoon shower gels review

Well hello guys, I have to say I just found my new obsession: the Treaclemoon shower gels. I got one because it was on sale in the Dr. Max pharmacy, and then I went online and ordered 3 more. So, it kind of escalated quickly.

Treaclemoon is a UK-based brand that makes shower gels, body lotions, hand creams and other bath treats that are cruelty free, vegan and that use natural extracts. Their formulas also contains ingredients 95% of natural origin. Also, their packaging is made only from recycled plastic.

I started with the Vanilla Sponge Cake shower gel that does really smell like a vanilla cake and I also chose 3 other yummy flavors.

Packaging:

The shower gels come in colorful 500 ml bottles that look really cute in the bathroom because each one is colored differently, depending on the scent.

Texture:

These are thick shower gels, so that you don’t even have to use much product. They have different colors and the scents are strong, invading the bathroom, so if you’re not into that kind of stuff, you should avoid them.

Price and accessibility:

I’ve seen Treaclemoon products only in Dr. Max pharmacies (in store and online), but they are also available in several other online shops as well, at the price of around 3.5 euros, which is more than affordable for such big bottles. I got the first shower gel on sale for around 2.5 euros and the next 3 also on sale because I got 3 at the price of 2, so it was worth it.

My overall opinion:

I don’t want much from shower gels. Just that they’re not mostly water, that they smell nice and that they don’t make the skin dry. I can say that these Treaclemoon showers are very nice. The vanilla cake one is self-explanatory, My Coconut Island smells like coconut, Brazilian Love smells like papaya and Marshmallow Hearts smells like strawberry candy. So, if you see these in stores and you want to try them out, it’s worth it. They’re affordable and of good quality.
