After the positive experience I had with the Revitalift Filler face cream and face serum, I decided to also opt for L’Oreal face creams. They had a 20% off sale on L’Oreal products on the Notino online shop, so I got another skin care set, this time consisting of a day face cream and a night face cream.

L’Oreal Hyaluron Specialist Day Cream SPF 20

Packaging:

The face cream comes in a nice glass jar with a plastic lid and it contains 50 ml.

Texture:

It’s a lightweight white face cream that also has a subtle scent. It absorbs easy into the skin without leaving a shiny coat on the skin’s surface.

Aside from the scented ingredients which I don’t mind at all, there are plenty of good ingredients in this formula: niacinamide, salicylic acid, hyaluronic acid, glycerin, panthenol plus sunscreen.

Price and accessibility:

This face cream is available in plenty of beauty stores and online shops. Usually, it’s priced at 8-9 euros, but I got it as part of a set. I think that it was about the same price to be honest.

My overall opinion:

My skin feels plump and moisturized and I don’t know if it’s the cream or if I’m doing something different, but my skin has actually cleared up quite a bit. I’m liking it more than the Revitalift Filler one because it’s lightweight, perfect for the summer and my skin doesn’t feel “thirsty” at all, it looks moisturized and fresh.

L’Oreal Hyaluron Specialist Night Cream

It has the same packaging as the face cream, a glass jar with a plastic lid that contains 50 ml.

Texture:

Despite it being a night cream, it still has a lightweight texture, so I don’t feel like I’m all slathered up in cream when I go to bed at night. I really like how it feels on the skin.

It has the same price as the face cream, around 8-9 euros, which is fair given that it’s a nice cream. It’s available in several beauty shops and online stores.

My overall opinion:

Although it’s probably the same as the day face cream just that it doesn’t have sunscreen in it, I like how it feels on the skin because it doesn’t feel greasy and I don’t feel like my face will smudge the pillowcase. But I do like it because it lasts for longer if I use a day and a night cream. Otherwise, I would go through a face cream jar in a month or even less.

In a nuthsell, I really like this skin care line from L’Oreal, so I will most likely repurchase both face creams.
