Makeup Revolution Rehab Soap & Care Styler review

I can’t keep track of all the Revolution Beauty brands and sub-brands, so I’m just going to call this like I’ve seen it listed in their online soap. I’m usually not a brow girl because I have naturally thick black eyebrows and I just like to pluck a little bit so that they have a shape, but that’s about it. Since I did get my hands on a brow soap, I decided to give it a try just because it’s there, you know?

Packaging:

I have to say the packaging looks simple and cool, a pale pink plastic compact with a tiny mirror. Also, there is a cool little spoolie in there. The compact contains 5 grams of product which is enough considering it’s only for the eyebrows.

Texture:

Since this is a soap, it looks exactly like a little soap, hence it has a wax consistency. It’s white and it does have a little bit of a scent, but I don’t mind it.

Ingredients:

MYRISTIC ACID, SODIUM STEARATE, PROPYLENE GLYCOL, SORBITOL, COCOS NUCIFERA (COCONUT) EXTRACT, BUTYROSPERMUM PARKII (SHEA) BUTTER, ALOE BARBADENSIS LEAF EXTRACT, OLEA EUROPAEA (OLIVE) FRUIT OIL, CASTOR OIL, JOJOBA OIL, GLYCERIN, PARFUM (FRAGRANCE), LIMONENE, LINALOOL, CITRONELLOL.

I like the coconut extract in there, the shea butter, the aloe vera extract, the jojoba oil and the olive oil in this because these are all good ingredients for the brows and they actually could help the brows grow thick and strong.

Price and accessibility:

Revolution Beauty products are available in all kinds of online shops and in beauty stores like DM or Marionnaud, so they’re easy to get. This brow soap is sold for 7 euros in the brand’s online shop, but I’m sure it can also be obtained for less in certain online stores.

My overall opinion:

It’s not a product that I really need, but I don’t mind using it because it contains a lot of nurturing ingredients for the eyebrows. The only thing that puts me a little off is that you need a little bit of water to be able to apply it with the spoolie.

Also, it’s a nice clear product for those who need to just keeps the hair in place. I haven’t tried it on top of brow pencils, powders or other types of brow makeup products, because I simply don’t need them. For a very simple, clean look and a quick brow routine, I think this is a very nice product and I would recommend it.
