This is the second product that I have from Lottie London after a cute little blush that I got some time ago. My opinion then was that it’s an affordable drugstore brand that is also cruelty free and that the blush was ok for the price. So, let’s see how the face powder works.
Packaging:

The powder comes in a plastic jar with a sifter. I have a deluxe sample size (5 grams), but the full size product contains 15 grams. The packaging is very basic, white, but the writing is holographic so it looks interesting but I know it will fade away fast.
Texture:
Being a loose powder, it is rather finely milled. I have it in the shade true translucent so it’s white, but there is also a warm translucent shade that looks beige. It doesn’t have any scent to it.
Ingredients:
Mica, Aluminum Starch Octenylsuccinate, Silica, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Phenoxyethanol, Tocopheryl Acetate, C10-18 Triglycerides, Bambusa Arundinacea Stem Powder, Sodium Hyaluronate, Triolein, Ethylhexylglycerin, Glucosylrutin.
The formula is also quite basic, with the mica, silica and aluminium starch, and there is also some bamboo powder in it. The formula is vegan, paraben free and gluten free.
Price and accessibility:
Lottie London products are not available in Romania. I got the powder from my Lookfantastic box (yes, I subscribed again a couple of months ago but I decided not to do unboxings because they weren’t interesting enough for my readers as far as the stats go). The powder is sold in the brand’s online shop for 6.95 UK pounds.
My overall opinion:
I dis use the powder all over the face, not just in the under eye area, and it does have a nice finish. It looks satiny and it doesn’t crease at all, and it also has a light mattifying effect. Not enough to cover the natural glow, but it reduces the appearance of shiny skin that oily and combination skin tends to have. So, I do like it and I think it’s a nice powder that I will continue to use.
