Since I don’t live under a rock, I know about the Peter Thomas Roth brand and I know they have some fancy-shmansy skin care products. So, when I got a sample size of this face mask in my Lookfantastic box, I figured that’s great, because now I get to try something from the brand and I also love face masks. Even it it was just a 14 ml sample size, it was enough for 3 uses, so I think I can give my opinion on it.

Packaging:

Regardless of the small tube that I got, the full size product comes in a jar that contains 150 ml, so it’s a really big size for a face mask and it does last for a long time. Since it comes in a jar, you can easily apply as much as you want.

Texture:

The mask has a gel texture, it’s green (it looks really cool) and it doesn’t have a scent, or at least not something that I noticed.

Well, this is one long ingredients list, isn’t it? The key ingredients in the formula are cucumber extract, papaya extract and chamomile extract. But there are also a lot of nice natural ingredients in here such as citrus extract, pineapple extract, mango extract, aloe vera extract and more.

Price and accesibility:

Peter Thomas Roth products are available in Romania in some pharmacies and in several online stores. This face mask is sold for about 50 euros or 55 US dollars, which, and I can’t believe that I’m saying this, is not that bad considering that many face masks contain only 30 ml or 50 ml at most. So, considering how many uses are in a big jar and that a face mask is used only 1-2 per week, it’s not such a bad price.

My overall opinion:

The mask is suitable for dry and sensitive skin and it has soothing properties, reducing redness. Although I don’t have dry skin, I find that has such a nice cooling effect that it’s perfect for the summer, especially after the skin has been exposed to the sun. In other words, I like it very much and I would consider making an investment so to say and purchasing the full size or at least a smaller jar because I’ve seen that those are also available.
