We Are Paradoxx is a beauty brand founded in 2019 in Ireland and it makes hair care products that hold a lot of promises: vegan formulas, cruelty free, eco friendly, sustainable packaging and so on. I got my hands on two deluxe samples of the shampoo and the conditioner from the Growth line and although I only got to use the products for 3 washes, I would still like to share my opinion on them.

We Are Paradoxx Growth Thickening Shampoo

Packaging:

The shampoo comes in an aluminium bottle with a pump that contains 250 ml. Also, the deluxe sample that I had came in an aluminium tube, so kudos for that.

Texture:

The shampoo has a rather liquid texture, so it’s a little runny. It doesn’t lather up much and it has a strong herbal scent, probably from all the natural extracts that it contains.

There are a lot of good ingredients in it, the key ones being caffeine, rosemary and argan oil. Also, there is horsetail leaf extract, nettle leaf extract, ginseng root extract and white nettle extract. These are all natural extracts that promote hair growth and have a thicker hair.

Price and accessibility:

We Are Paradoxx products are available in Romania in Douglas stores and in a couple online shops and, of course, through the brand’s online shop. This shampoo is sold for 24.95 euros.

My overall opinion:

Of course, I can’t say after only three uses that the shampoo helps with hair growth because the results should be seen after 4 weeks. However, I did like that my fine hair had volume after using this shampoo, that it didn’t became oily faster that with other shampoos that I used and that the hair looks nice and shiny after using it. However, I wouldn’t pay more than 10 euros for a shampoo, given that the bottle isn’t larger or anything.

Like the shampoo, the conditioner comes in an aluminium bottle with a pump that contains 250 ml.

Texture:

The conditioner is a little bit thicker than the shampoo, but it has the same white color and the herbal scent.

The key ingredients are biotin, coconut oil and vegan keratin, but there are also other ingredients that can be found in the shampoo as well. Also, the conditioner has the same Trioplexx Technology in the formula like the shampoo that is supposed to stimulate the scalp and hair follicles to encourage healthy hair growth, strengthen hair bonds to reduce breakage and add fullness.

The conditioner is also available in Douglas stores, online stores and through the brand’s online shop at the price of 26.95 euros.

My overall opinion:

The conditioner did a nice job to almost instantly smooth the hair while being lightweight at the same time (of course, I didn’t apply it on the roots, just starting from the mid hair length. Like the shampoo, the conditioner was nice, but a bit expensive for my tastes. However, if you’re into natural, vegan and sustainable products and you don’t mind paying the higher price tag, maybe these products are something you could look into.
