Last weekend I went to a festival where I enjoyed good music, good food, a great atmosphere and of course, I brought home a few souvenirs because the festival took place in a town very dear to my heart. One of those souvenirs was this cute handmade soap that I got from a very nice woman who had a colorful stand full of handmade products, mostly bath and body cosmetics. Of course, I already put it to use.
Packaging:
This cute soap came in a simple cardboard box with the name of the brand on it and some tissue paper. Unfortunately, this was it, no other information regarding the ingredients or anything else. Being a handmade product, I didn’t expect any fancy packaging.
Texture:
I don’t know how she made the rainbow soap, but it does look enticing. It also had a golden unicorn imprint, but that went away after the first time I wiped it across my bath sponge. As expected. The scent is fruity, but it’s not that strong so maybe that’s a good thing because it means there isn’t a lot of perfume in it.
Ingredients:
I searched for the name and I found her website, but there isn’t any ingredients list. All I could find was that it contains olive oil, coconut oil and cocoa butter.
Price and accessibility:
I’m guessing these soaps are sold mostly at several fairs and festivals, but there is also an online shop. The soap is sold for about 4 euros, which I think is decent for a handmade product.
My overall opinion:
For the design and the presentation, I give it a 10 out of 10, because it’s the most beautiful soap I had, but as for how it feels on the skin, it could have been creamier to be honest. I had soaps, including handmade ones, that felt creamier and more hydrating than this one. So, that’s why I wouldn’t go out of my way to buy more. But I do think they could be a very nice gift because of how they look and I always support small businesses like this. And I’m sure that there’s always room for improvement and all producers try their best to make small adjustments to their products.
