Bleach London Reincarnation Mask review

I have always associated Bleach London with, you know, bleaching products. All about that blond hair. But turns out now they have a larger range of products, including all kinds of hair care products for different hair types. So when I got a mini size of this mask in my Lookfantastic box, I was able to try it.

Packaging:

Given that this mask is actually available in the mini size on the brand’s website, this is the exact same packaging, meaning a plastic tube. Nothing fancy or extraordinary about it. It contains 50 ml.

Texture:

The hair mask is thick and creamy and it has a light scent. It’s easy to work it into the hair (I used it only from the mid-length down to the ends of my hair).

Ingredients:

Aqua (Water), Cetearyl Alcohol, Behentrimonium Chloride, Glycerin, Octyldodecanol, Cetrimonium Chloride, Amodimethicone, Isopropyl Alcohol, Sodium Benzoate, Lactic Acid, Dipropylene Glycol, Parfum (Fragrance), Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein PG-Propyl Silanetriol, Lauryl Pyrrolidone, Trideceth-12, Propylene Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, Polyamide-2, Benzoic Acid, Saccharomyces/Magnesium Ferment, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Extract, Potassium Sorbate, Saccharomyces/Iron Ferment, Saccharomyces/Zinc Ferment, Saccharomyces/Copper Ferment, Saccharomyces/Silicon Ferment, Benzyl Salicylate, Coumarin, Linalool.

This is a vegan and cruelty free product. The key ingredients are hydrolyzed wheat proteins, vegetable proteins and sunflower seed extract. It is also paraben-free and ammonia-free.

Price and accessibility:

As far as I can tell Bleach London products are available only through several foreign online shops. This mini hair mask is sold for only 4 UK pounds, but even the full size is affordable.

My overall opinion:

I do have damaged hair and split ends and I’m need of a serious trim, so I’m a good person to test hair masks. Well, while this one does make the hair silky and smooth it doesn’t repair damaged hair and I don’t think that there is any miracle product for that. It’s just a nice hair mask but the same results I could obtain from plenty of drugstore hair masks so I won’t be going out of my way to purchase it.
