Since I noticed a pattern with the lipsticks I tend to wear more often, I decided to show you which ones are my favorite. And shocker, after doing a little declutter and getting rid of some old lipsticks and some that i just didn’t like the shades enough, I ended up with a few lipsticks that I keep rotating and they’re all from Oriflame. Moreover, they are all from the The One range, so let me show you which ones I like and recommend. I’ll start with the least favorite up to my top favorite, with the mention that they are all lipsticks that I love.

The One Colour Unlimited Ultra Fix liquid lipstick

I have the shade April Blush, which is a beautiful rosewood color. It’s a matte liquid lipstick, but it applies as a very creamy lipstick and you have to wait for it to dry out. It’s not as long-lasting as I have wanted, but it is a beautiful color and it doesn’t dry out the lips. It contains vitamin C. The lipstick is made in Italy and it comes in a plastic tube that contains 5 ml. At full price, it’s about 12 euros, but I got mine when it was on sale. Even in the current catalogue it’s available for around 8 euros, wo it’s an affordable find.

The One Colour Stylist Super Pout lipsticks

I actually have two shades of this lipstick. The one one the left is Sumptuous Mauve, which is a nude with cool mauve undertones and the one one the right is Sienna, a light coral shade. I like both, but now I’m wearing the Sumptuous Mauve one more often because it’s perfect for a nude lip. They are also matte lipsticks and they are surprisingly good at being transfer proof. They have a minty taste and they give a slight tingly sensation (probably to create the pout lip look), and they are very nice and make the lips look a little bit more fuller. These are made in India and they’re usually sold for around 10 euros each, but I got them on sale for around 4 euros each, so there’s always some deals to get a new lipstick.

The One Irresistible Touch liquid lipstick

This one is my favorite and I will tell you why. It looks like a lipgloss when you first apply it but after it wears off it leaves a tint on the lips, so it looks like I’m still wearing a matte lipstick. It’s also very creamy and comfortable on the lips. I have the shade Captivating Nude, which is a nude shade (like the name gives it away, I know), but it leaves a rosy pink tint behind that looks like my natural lip color. Because it’s sort of a 2 in 1 product, it’s my favorite out of the bunch. This is also around 10 euros usually, but I got it at half the price when it was on sale. This is also made in India and it comes in a tube with a twisting sponge applicator which contains 4 ml.

So, first of all I think for a lipstick to be any good you have to like the color first and buying something online can be deceiving. I got lucky with these colors because they suit me. For example, I decluttered a Revlon lipstick because it was a brown shade that was too dark for me, a L’Oreal lipstick that was an orange red shade and I don’t like warm reds on me and another L’Oreal one because it was a light pink and it was too pale for me. So, it’s all about the colors.

Second, I have really nothing against products that are made in Poland but I noticed that the ones made by companies like Avon and Oriflame are crappy (I wouldn’t be surprised if they share the same factories). These lipsticks are made in Italy and in India respectively and the quality is simply better. And that’s also something to consider. Too bad that it’s not mentioned on the website or in the catalogue, so you know what you’re buying.

An lastly, my tips regarding these lipsticks are the following: the most long-lasting are the matte stick lipsticks, the most creamy and comfortable to wear is the Irrestistible Touch liquid lipstick and the one with the highest color pay off is the Colour Unlimited Ultra Fix matte liquid lipstick. So, if you want to try some Oriflame lipsticks, I would recommend to try something from the The One line because all that I have tried so far are very good and have their strong points.
