I don’t know about you, but I sure think of these lazy end of the year days as the perfect days for self love. And for me, self love means skin care, going on long walks, lighting candles, watching my favorite series and doing some reading. So, when I saw this little mask on sale, I got it because I needed some new face masks.
Beauty Jar is a Latvian cosmetics brand, that are cruelty free, made with mostly natural ingredients and they don’t contain parabens and SLS’s.
Packaging:
This face mask comes in a plastic jar and it contains 100 grams. The label is very colorful which is a trademark for this brand.
Texture:

The face mask looks like a thick white cream and it has a light scent to it, but nothing that is too overpowering.
Ingredients:
Aqua, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Urea, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Caprylic/Capric Triglycerides, Stearic Acid, Glycerin, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Cetearyl Alcohol, Polyglyceryl-3 Methylglucose Distearate, Argania Spinsosa (Argan) Kernel Oil, Camellia Sinensis (White Tea) Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Panthenol, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Cellulose Gum, Benzyl Alcohol, Dehydroacetic Acid, Parfum, Citric Acid, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate
Since this is a hydrating face mask it contains many hydrating ingredients, aloe vera juice and white tea extract being the key ingredients. Other important ingredients are cocoa butter, jojoba seed oil, sweet almond oil, argan oil and vitamin E. This doesn’t sound like something for oily and combination skin, but I like to use hydrating masks as well, especially during winter and after I’m using a peeling serum.
Price and accessibility:
Beauty Jar products are available in DM stores (some of the products) and in several online shops. This face mask was initially sold for around 6 euros, but I got it on sale for just around 2 euros, which is a bargain.
My overall opinion:
This mask is easy to use, you just apply it as a face cream, maybe in a bit of a thicker layer, you leave it on for about 10 minutes and then you rinse off with warm water. I like how it makes my skin feel soft and supple even the next day and it didn’t cause any reactions on me like pimples or white heads, so it’s a plus on my list. I will try some more Beauty Jar products if I come across them, because I’m always looking for bargains.
