I’m a sucker for anything that has roses in it, so when I got a sample size of this face mask in my Lookfantastic beauty box I was happy to have a new face mask to play with and pamper myself during my Saturday night skin care ritual.

Packaging:

The face mask is available in a big size jar that contains 300 ml, but I have the sample size that contains only 30 ml and it comes in a pink plastic tube. However, it’s pink so I do like it.

Texture:

This is a gel mask, so it looks like a thick pale pink gel that has a beautiful rose scent. I apply it generously, but even so, I think that the sample size is enough for at least 3 uses, if not more.

The key ingredients are rose plant stem cells from 5 rose plants, rose extracts from 4 rose plants and aloe vera.

Price and accessibility:

Peter Thomas Roth products are available at Sephora, in certain pharmacies and in several online shop. The full size products is available for 110 US dollars on the brand’s website, which is a hefty price tag, but it can be found on sale and considering the large quantity, I think it’s a pretty good price/quality ration.

My overall opinion:

I don’t think that there are any face masks that do wonders, but they have their place in a regular skin care routine. This face mask feels very soothing and calming on the skin and I feel like it also gives a light glow to the skin. I enjoy using it and if it weren’t out of my price range, I would definitely purchase the full size of it. Like most Peter Thomas Roth products that I have tried so far, I like it, but I don’t think it’s like a miracle skin care product.
