Well, just like I said in my previous post, some Farmec products I really like and some are just not it. It’s the same with this shampoo that I tried because it seem like a good idea because of the nettle extract and because it’s suppose to be a fortifying shampoo and for my fine hair I need all the help that I can get.
Packaging:
The shampoo comes in a bit plastic bottle that contains 400 ml. It’s suitable for frequent use so maybe that’s why they sell it in such big bottles.
Texture:
The shampoo looks pale blue and it has a subtle herbal scent. It has a thick consistency, similar to the one of a gel and it lathers up quite nicely, so a small amount is enough for a wash.
Ingredients:
Aqua, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium Chloride, Propylene Glycol, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Urtica Dioica Extract, Sodium Benzoate, Tetrasodium EDTA, Parfum, Citric Acid, Tocopheryl Acetate, Polyquaternium-7, Sodium Hydroxide, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Linalool, Magnesium Aspartate, Zinc Gluconate, Copper Gluconate, Sodium Sulfate, CI 19140, CI 42051
The key ingredients are the nettle extract the magnesium, copper and zinc complex and vitamin E.
Price and accessibility:
Farmec products are widely available in beauty stores, pharmacies, supermarkets and online shops, as well as on the brand’s own online shop. The shampoo is sold for around 3 euros, which is a cheap price for a large quantity (that should have tipped me off that it’s too good to be true).
My overall opinion:
Since I’m almost out of it, I think it’s safe to say I formed my opinion on it. My hair doesn’t feel stronger or thicker and frankly there are shampoos that make it look shinier. Also, it does absolutely nothing to add volume to the hair and I still need to wash my hair every other day because it gets oily. So, it didn’t do anything bad because my scalp hasn’t become itchy and I didn’t get any dandruff or anything but it also didn’t do anything good for may hair. So, even it’s meant to be a shampoo suitable for fine thin hair, I just didn’t noticed any significant benefits after using it for a while now.
