Usually I’m not the kind of person who gets excited about stick products, even less about multi use products, but I got this little guy in a Notino beauty box and I’m so glad that I did because I feel like I was missing out.
First of all, a few mentions about the Kind & Free Rimmel range. These are products that have vegan formulas, that don’t contain mineral oils, fragrance and animal derived ingredients. It’s their clean beauty range. It doesn’t contain many products yet, but the formulas are supposed to contain only minimum needed ingredients, so that’s nice.
Packaging:
Like the name says it, the products comes in the form of a stick, so the packaging is a blue plastic tube. All the Kind & Free products have a blue packaging, so they look colorful and cute. The tube contains 5 grams, which I think is enough considering that you don’t need much when you apply them.
Texture:

the texture is rather creamy for a stick product, but it’s not so creamy that the stick melts down or breaks down. It also helps that it’s a chubby stick, so that’s why it’s quite sturdy. I have mine in the shade 002 Peachy Cheeks, which is a gorgeous color, a true peach shade that goes well on the cheeks, lips and eyes. It has a satin finish, so that’s why it’s good as a blush, an eyeshadow or as a lipstick.
Ingredients:
OCTYLDODECANOL, ISOCETYL STEAROYL STEARATE, ISODECYL NEOPENTANOATE, BIS-DIGLYCERYL POLYACYLADIPATE-2, CANDELILLA CERA/EUPHORBIA CERIFERA (CANDELILLA) WAX/CIRE DE CANDELILLA, DIISOSTEARYL MALATE, NEOPENTYL GLYCOL DIHEPTANOATE, ORYZA SATIVA (RICE) BRAN WAX, TRIETHYLHEXANOIN, POLYMETHYLSILSESQUIOXANE, SILICA, COPERNICIA CERIFERA CERA/COPERNICIA CERIFERA (CARNAUBA) WAX/CIRE DE CARNAUBA, HYDROGENATED POLYISOBUTENE, ETHYLHEXYL PALMITATE, ALUMINUM HYDROXIDE, TETRAHEXYLDECYL ASCORBATE, TRIBEHENIN, TOCOPHERYL ACETATE, SORBITAN ISOSTEARATE, PALMITOYL TRIPEPTIDE-1, TRIHYDROXYSTEARIN, SODIUM HYALURONATE, [MAY CONTAIN/PEUT CONTENIR/+/-: YELLOW 5 LAKE (CI 19140), TITANIUM DIOXIDE (CI 77891), RED 7 LAKE (CI 15850), IRON OXIDES (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), BLUE 1 LAKE (CI 42090), RED 27 LAKE (CI 45410)].
Price and accessibility:
Rimmel products are available in several beauty stores and also in online shops, so they’re not hard to come by. Since I got mine from Notino, this multi stick is sold on their website for around 8 euros. It’s an affordable product, especially since you can use it in so many ways. There are only 5 shades available, but that’s expected since it’s supposed to be used on eyes, lips and cheeks.
My overall opinion:
Like I said, I wasn’t that happy when I saw it in the beauty box because I’m not a fan of stick products, but I’m happy I gave it a try because it now has become one of my favorites. Especially since I can toss it in my makeup bag and take it with me whenever I need a quick makeup look and I want to touch up throughout the day. It helps that the peachy shade is so flattering and it works great for my pale complexion.
The finish is beautiful, it’s subtle, but buildable, so I find it a great products for everyday makeup looks. I can’t wear too much makeup at my work place, but I like to have a touch of color on my face, so this multi stick is great. All I can say is that I like it and I’m curious to try more from Rimmel’s Kind & Free range.
