Used-up and tested #56 – beauty products leaving my collection

Since I don’t want to have empty bottles piled up around the house, I decided to do my monthly empties post, even if I have only a few things to share.

Mayie Vitamin-E Bath Crystals – I didn’t do a review on those because they’re not available for purchase, it was just a limited edition gift that I got when I ordered my last skin care products from them (it was around Easter). These are the most amazing bath crystals I have ever tried and I even wrote an email to them to make them a permanent product in their line. The salts melt completely so you don’t feel them on the skin when you take a bath, the skin is very soft after the bath and the scent was amazing and it lasted all day in the bathroom. I loved them!

Biobaza After Sun Shimmering Fluid – it was also a gift with purchase and I used it as a regular body lotion. It smelled like cookies and it had very tiny shimmery particles in it, so id didn’t look like chunky body glitter.

Niavis Rose Water – I used it to mix it with green clay for face masks. It has a very nice rose scent, not that sickly sweet one, so I did like it very much. It can also be used as a toner or just as a face mist.

Mio Sleeping Smoothing Overnight Serum – asides from feeling a bit sticky on the skin and the citrus scent, I didn’t noticed anything special on my legs. It contains AHA acids, but honestly I didn’t noticed any difference.

Gerovital Derma + Sun SPF 30 Sunscreen Milk – it may be a good SPF (although 30 is a bit low), but on the face it was a no-no combined with makeup because foundation just doesn’t sit well on top of it. However, it can be used on makeup-free days.

First Aid Beauty Anti-Chafe Stick – it contains shea butter and colloidal oatmeal, but I didn’t noticed anything special about it and it doesn’t help with the chaffing, at least not on thick thighs (like I have).

That was it for the month of May. Some were good surprises and they were gifts (the bath crystals and the body lotion) and others where things from beauty boxes that I just didn’t like.
