Used-up and tested #58 – beauty products leaving my collection

I’m a little bit late with this post because I was on vacation, so sorry about that. But, I do have some empties, including some sample sizes and I want to mention them in my empties.

Hair and body care empties

Keff Jelly Beans Ice Cream Body Wash – I intended to do a review on these body washes, because they’re so yummy and they feel nice on the skin, but I decided not to since the brand is a bit problematic. However, I would mention them because they do smell delicious and I liked using them.

Nivea Deodorant Summer Happiness – I like Nivea deodorants in general because they are gentle for the skin and this is a limited edition deodorant.

Balea Sensitive Shower Cream – I would like to mention this shower cream because it’s good for sensitive skin and it has a surprisingly fresh scent.

Batiste Blush Dry Shampoo – Batiste dry shampoos do their job, I just tend to avoid them because I have to rub them into the hair. It’s just a travel-sized one that I got in a BuzzBox.

Skin care empties

Nectar Of Bio Micellar Water – I got this from the Carrefour supermaket and it was super cheap. But it also didn’t do a good job at removing the eye makeup.

Revolution Beauty 0.5% Retinol with Rosehip Seeds – I got this from a Lookfantastic box and I used it only in the evening. I didn’t do a review on it because the packaging changed for this product and I didn’t want to confuse anybody. I would say it’s similar to rosehip oil that I’ve used in the past.

Biotherm Aquasource Hyalu Plump Gel – it was just a little sample size from a Notino beauty box. I used it 3-4 times and it did feel hydrating and cooling on the skin. But I did put a face cream on top.

Eucerin Aquaphor – it looks just like vaseline, so it’s probably for very dry skin. I used it around the eye area because I read some articles that say that cosmetic vaseline can help to prevent wrinkles around the eye area.

Oral care empties

Pasta Del Capitano toothpaste – I usually don’t mention toothpaste in my empties, but this one I really liked because it’s really good and I noticed an improvement in the color of my teeth. Plus, it helps you to have fresh breath.

Marvis Original toothpaste – I don’t know what Italy does when it comes to toothpaste, but this one was also great. I used it on vacation because it was a small travel-size. I wouldn’t go out of my way to get it, but it’s very nice.

That was all for the month of July, I can’t say that there were surprising things in here, but I do like Italian toothpaste. And some brands that are tried and tested in my book are Nivea and Balea, since I’m constantly using them.

I didn’t bring anything back from my trip because I didn’t came across brands that I didn’t already know, but I did smell such a nice perfume, too bad it was too expensive.
