August was a short month for me, because during the first week I was on vacation, then I did some reflecting to make a big decision for my life (not exactly my entire future, but even so), so I didn’t pay much attention to new beauty products. I did try some new things and reviews are coming, but the empties are just a few.

Face and body empties

Elmiplant Aqua Breeze shower gel – a fresh scent and a very pleasant shower gel for the summer and I did enjoy it.

Reebok Cool Your Body spray – again a fresh, citrus scent and a surprisingly good antiperspirant. I go it in the BuzzBox and I’m happy that I tried it and I would repurchase it again.

Balea eye makeup remover – one of the worst makeup removers that I’ve used because no matter how much I would shake it, the oil kept separating from the water and I just felt like I had to rub so much to remove the eye makeup along with some lashes during the process.

Elmiplant Collagent eye patches – I liked them, but they weren’t any different from other eye patches that I used.

Ariul aloe vera sheet mask – not in the picture because the sachet was a mess and I didn’t keep it. I did like the mask very much and it was one of the best sheet masks that I use because it left my skin so soft and plump.

Makeup empties

Catrice Ultra Precision Eye Pencil in the shade 030 Brownie – it was a bad eye pencil because I didn’t get to use it much. It’s a retractable pencil but it broke off multiple times until there wasn’t any product left. Also, it’s not waterproof because it’s runny.

Cien Neon Splash nail polishes in the shades pink and green – I got them last year and I love them for the summer but they’ve gone bad or something because they take ages to dry. Even after half an hour the nail polish rubbed off of one of my fingers because I touched something with my nail. I liked them, but now they’re not usable, so I had to throw them away.

That was about it for the empties of August, there were some good things and some bad things in here and I’m excited to see what else I will find during my beauty journey. Maybe I will have to do beauty on a budget again, but I’m optimistic that everything will turn out all right in the end.
