Bell HYPOAllergenic Fresh Bronze Powder review

This cute bronzer is another find on the sale in the DM online shop and I bought it together with the foundation from the same brand. I wanted a matte bronzer because I’m tired of all the glowy bronzers that have shimmer in them. I like a more natural look, just add a touch of color and to define the cheekbones. Also, I use it daily like a blush and I think it’s a perfect find for everyday discreet makeup look.

Packaging:

Since Bell HYPOAllergenic is an affordable brand, the packaging is not much, just a simple plastic case that has golden writing on it which will probably fade away fast. It contains 9 grams.

Texture:

There were two shades available, one lighter and one darker and, of course, I got the 01 shade which doesn’t even have a name. It’s a very subtle pale golden shade and I had to apply it several times just so it can show up in the picture. However, I do like it for my pale skin and the powder is very finely milled, so it gives a soft and blurry look.

Ingredients:

Talc, Mica Magnesium Myristate, Isocetyl Stearoyl, Stearate, Octyldodecyl Stearate, Caprylic Capric Triglyceride, Kaolin, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Copernicia Cerifera Cera (Vopernica Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax), Tocopheryl Acetate, Ethylhexylglycerin, Tetrasodium Pyrophosphate, Citric Acid, Phenoxyethanol, Ci 77491, Ci 77492, Ci 77499 (Iron Oxides), Ci 77891 (Titanium Dioxide).

I appreciate the shea butter in the formula because it makes it more buttery and also there is vegan vax, so it’s a vegan formula.

Price and accessibility:

Bell HYPOAllergenic products are available at DM (not in all stores, but in the online shop) and i several other online shops. It had an original price of around 5 euros which is already a very good price, but I got it on sale for half off.

My overall opinion:

Just like the foundation, this bronzer was also a very nice surprise. It looks very natural on the skin, just for a hint of color or for a sunkissed look if you like. Also, it doesn’t emphasize the skin’s texture, so I think it has a light blurring effect.

So far, I’m very happy with the two products that I have from this brand and I’m interested in more, especially since it’s a brand designed for sensitive skin. It doesn’t contain any perfume and it’s a matter bronzer, which I find that it can be hard to find, particularly when it comes to affordable drugstore brands. For some reason, they all like to put out shimmery bronzers and those are not what I like for everyday makeup.

In other words, I would recommend this nice subtle bronzer and I will look into more products from Bell HYPOAllergenic.
