Since I decided to start reviewing products that are exclusively available in DM stores, I should also mention this little eye pencil because it was also a nice surprise.
Trend !t Up is a makeup brand that is exclusively made for DM and it is also a very affordable brand. Like Balea for skin care, bath and body products. Since it’s also a German brand it’s cruelty free and many of their products are vegan.
Packaging:
This is a wooden pencil and it’s actually made of wood because it has that distinctive scent. It contains 0.78 grams which doesn’t seem like much, but I find that regular pencil, like those that need to be sharpened last longer that retractable eye pencils that are creamier but that often break.
Texture:

I have the basic 300 Black shade because I wanted a pencil that I will often use. I tried to use more colorful eyeliners but I find that black and brown shades are the ones that I tend to gravitate towards to. It’s not too hard, so it can easily be applied in the water liner.
Ingredients:
I couldn’t find the ingredients list, but it does say on the packaging that it contains chamomile extract, which may sound like an odd choice, but it’s probably there because it’s a gentle ingredient often used in products meant for the eye area.
Price and accessibility:
Trend !t Up products are available only in DM stores and in their online shop. It’s sold for around 1 euro, so you really can’t beat that price and I think it’s much safer for the eyes than eye pencils that you can get for cheap from dubious sellers.
My overall opinion:
Given that it’s such a cheap eye pencil I was surprised at how comfortable it feels on the eyes and it’s also rather good because it doesn’t smudge. I didn’t use it on the lid because I tend to use liquid eyeliners in that area, but for the water line it’s perfectly line. I think that this brand is something that I should try more from because they may have basic makeup products and the packaging is also very simple, but they seem to perform well as gar as the online reviews go.
Also, they tend to have less limited edition products which is something that I appreciate because I get makeup products from brands like essence and Catrice and they are often available for limited time only. Sometimes it’s fun to always find new things to get, but if you like something, you have to weed through the rest of the range to find something similar.
