I don’t know what’s with the product names that essence has for their products, since I don’t mind the world play and everything, but I don’t get the exclamation point at the end. But, let’s talk about the eyeliner. I got it because my old ones were quite dry and because the little stamp at the end could help me achieve a decent wing, even if a small one.

Packaging:

The eyeliner comes in a plastic tube that contains 3.5 ml. There is only one shade available, the black and the silver writing on the side is already fading off, but it’s a drugstore product and even a cheap one, so I’m not bothered by it. Also, the quantity is enough because an eyeliner dries out fast, so I wouldn’t need much.

Texture:

The eyeliner is gorgeous, I was surprised at how creamy and shiny it looks. The one on the left is the wing made with the stamp, the one in the middle is a thick line drawn with the tip on one side and the thin line is made with the fine part of the tip, so you can create any type of line you want.

Ingredients:

AQUA (WATER), ACRYLATES COPOLYMER, PROPYLENE GLYCOL, CAPRYLYL GLYCOL, HYDROXYETHYLCELLULOSE, DISODIUM PHOSPHATE, SODIUM PHOSPHATE, PHENOXYETHANOL, CI 77266 (BLACK 2) (NANO).

Surprisingly, this eyeliner has quite a nice score in the beauty app. There are no parabens, alcohol, fragrance or oils in it. Also, it’s a vegan formula.

Price and accessibility:

essence products are available in DM stores and in several online shops. The Quick Wing eyeliner is sold for about 3.3 euros, which is the price that I paid for it. I think it’s a great price for the quality.

My overall opinion:

That little stamp at the end is actually helpful because I love small wings, not those long wings at the corner of the eye and I like to do some even for an everyday makeup. Also, the formula is great, it doesn’t smudge and it doesn’t become runny throughout the day, so this is definitely one of the hit products in the essence range, I’m glad it’s not another limited edition product and I would happily recommend it to anyone, because at this price it’s a great find.

I had other eyeliners in my collection, usually from beauty boxes that I got over the years, but I have to say this one is among one of the best ones I’ve used.
