Frudia Avocado Enzyme Relief Peeling Gel review

The last time I placed an order in the Dr. Max pharmacy online store, I was looking for some kind of exfoliating gel or peeling gel because I felt like I needed something like this in my skin care routine. As I was browsing on the website, I saw this peeling gel from Frudia in a sample size, so I decided to order it just to see how it is before I commit to purchasing the full size product. I’ve used it three times so far, so I think I formed my opinion on it.

Packaging:

The full size products as well as my little sample size come in a bright green plastic tube. I like how Frudia has all kinds of colorful packaging and I think this one is very suitable because it reminds of the color of the avocado fruit. The full size product contain 120 grams.

Texture:

The gel looks more like a whipped cream with a light green tint to it. It does have a bit of a scent and you can feel some fine grainy particles in it.

Ingredients:

Water, Cellulose, Dipropylene Glycol, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Fruit Extract, 1,2-Hexanediol, Centella Asiatica Extract, Glyceryl Caprylate, Panthenol, Trehalose, Coco-Caprylate/Caprate, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Tromethamine, Polyglyceryl-10 Laurate, Polyglyceryl-4 Laurate, Glycerin, Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside, Hydrogenated Olive Oil Unsaponifiables, Xanthan Gum, Melia Azadirachta Leaf Extract, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Gluconolactone, Melia Azadirachta Flower Extract, Pentylene Glycol, Butylene Glycol, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Madecassoside, Bifida Ferment Lysate, Lactobacillus Ferment Lysate, Lactococcus Ferment Lysate, Papain, Asiaticoside, Madecassic Acid, Cucurbita Maxima Fruit Extract, Asiatic Acid, Phytosterols, Disodium EDTA, Citrus Aurantium Bergamia (Bergamot) Fruit Oil, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Oil, Citrus Paradisi (Grapefruit) Peel Oil, Cupressus Sempervirens Leaf/Nut/Stem Oil, Juniperus Virginiana Oil, Lavandula Hybrida Oil, Limonene, Linalool

The peeling gel contains all kinds of natural ingredients such as avocado fruit extract, green tea extract, olive oil, chinaberry leaf and flower extract, squash fruit extract, bergamot fruit oil, orange peel oil, grapefruit peel oil, lavender oil and eastern redcedar oil.

Price and accessibility:

Frudia products are available in several online shops, in pharmacies and in some beauty stores. Since I got mine from the Dr. Max pharmacy, I’ll go with their price, which is about 18 euros for the full size. It may seem like a bit much, nut considering that you use a peeling only once or twice a week and you don’t need much product, I think it’s a good price. A full size tube will certainly last for quite some time. I used mine three times already and I think I’m only halfway through even though it was just a 15 grams sample.

My overall opinion:

The peeling gel which is more a cream than a gel melts into the skin and believe it or not, it does remove dead skin cells, because I noticed a lot of them came off in the nose are and some on the forehead. There weren’t any on the cheeks, or at least not as much as on the nose. So, I think it does work and it just makes me feel really clean and refreshed and the skin looks glowy and soft. I only use it once a week when I apply some face masks as well.

I don’t know much about Korean skin care and I know that many people don’t consider Frudia to be a good brand, but so far, all the products that I tried from this brand were lovely and they do have nice effects on the skin, so I don’t see any reason not to recommend them, including this gentle avocado face peeling gel.
