I’m usually not a fan of body glitter of any kind because it just falls of and rubs off on the clothes, or when I do use it, I use it during the summer. But, for some reason, one time when I was shopping at my local DM store, I saw a bunch of these fragrance mists from Dolce & Mania and I chose one because I liked the smell.

Dolce & Mania is a brand owned by Diamond International, an Italian company that has a few different fragrance brands. The company was established in 2016 and all the products are made in Italy. I have a fragrance mist, but, of course, there are also perfumes available.

Packaging:

The fragrance mist comes in a bottle with a sprayer and it contains 200 ml. The design is quite simple, as the plastic bottle is clear and you can see the color of the mist and the tiny glitter particles in it.

Top notes: crisp pear, Italian tangerine, pink pepper

Middle notes: May rose, Sambac jasmine, peony

Base notes: white musk, patchouli, amber

Price and accessibility:

Dolce & Mania products are available in Romania in DM stores and in a few online shops. I got this fragrance mist from my local DM for about 5 euros, which I think is a fair price, considering that the bottle is quite large.

My overall opinion:

I know this is just a fragrance mist, so I wasn’t expecting much longevity, but you know what? This is actually quite a nice body mist. It lasts for some time, even directly on the skin, and this is more than I can say for some perfumes.

The scent is very nice, it reminds me of something elegant, classic, while being predominantly floral. It’s sweet, but not sickening sweet, just yummy sweet. I love it and I wear it all day now.

The glitter is very fine and while it doesn’t remain on the skin because the mist dries up, but it’s not the type of glittery mist that leaves traces of sparkling glitter on the clothes. And I must say, I do enjoy it a little bit, because I feel like a princess when I spray myself in the morning with a pink glittery mist, not gonna lie.

All in all, I’m quite interested in trying more of the Dolce & Mania fragrances and this means body mists as well as perfumes, because they’re on the affordable side and I think that I should layer them because I could obtain an interesting result.
