I wouldn’t have thought that I would go back to anti acne face creams like a teenager, but here we are. I had some outbreaks lately, probably because of stress, so now I’m trying to change up my skin care routine for a little bit because I really need something to clear up my skin.
Packaging:
The face cream comes in a plastic tube that contains 75 ml. The tube is light blue, because that’s the color of the Clear Your Skin line which also has some other products such as a toner and a cleanser. I only got the face cream for now.
Texture:
This does have a very light texture, so I’m probably using a little bit more than usual, but I like that it absorbs fast into the skin and that it doesn’t look shiny. But it’s not completely mattifying, at least not for my combination skin. It does give a certain glow, which I’m not mad about.
Ingredients:
Aqua (Water) Propylene Glycol Glycerin Cocos Nucifera Oil Cetearyl Glucoside Sorbitan Olivate C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate Isononyl Isononanoate Alcohol Denat. Coco-Caprylate Niacinamide Mandelic Acid Enantia chlorantha Bark Extract Maclura cochinchinensis Leaf Prenylflavonoids Oleanolic Acid Tocopheryl Acetate Butyrospermum Parkii Butter Panthenol Alternifolia Leaf Melaleuca Oil Phenoxyethanol Myristyl Myristate Dimethicone Sodium Polyacrylate Cetearyl Alcohol polyacrylamide Acrylates / C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer Ethylhexylglycerin Triethanolamine Disodium C13-14 Isoparaffin EDTA Polysilicone-11 Laureth-7 Butylene Glycol Propanediol Decyl Glucoside Caprylyl Glycol Hexylene Glycol Parfum (Fragrance) Limonene.
The key ingredients in this face cream are niacinamide, mandelic acid, coconut oil and tea tree oil. There is also shea butter, African yellow wood bark tree extract and cockspur thorn leaf extract.
Price and accessibility:
Eveline Cosmetics products are widely available in several beauty stores and online shops. I got this face cream from the Dr. Max pharmacy for about 3 euros, which is a more than affordable price, especially since there is also a larger quantity available. I don’t think you could get something better for the price to be honest.
My overall opinion:
My skin is not already cleared up, but I’ve been using the face cream in the morning only for about two weeks. However, at least it hasn’t gotten worse and I noticed that it does help with the excessive shine while leaving the skin still hydrated. Overall, I do enjoy it and I wouldn’t say no to repurchasing it. I’m mostly concerned about anti-aging products at my age, but While I try to resolve my acne problems, I would continue to use this face cream because it’s affordable and I like the ingredients. Niacinamide and tea tree are some of my favorite ingredients in skin care. I don’t think it would work for dry skin because it has such a light texture, but for oily and combination skin it works just fine.
