Usher will be the face of a new perfume launched by Ralph Lauren called ”New York”. The perfume is created by Nadege LeGarlantezec and Shaymala Maisondieu and it was inspired by the golden age of the city of New York, while also tapping into today’s vibe. The top notes are blackcurrant, bergamot and green mandarin, the middle notes are lavender, geranium and sandalwood and the base notes are oak moss, balsam fir and bourbon vanilla.

It sounds like a sexy, soultry scent with a hint of sweetness mixed in there. I can’t say that I’m a big Usher fan, but the collaboration between him and Ralph Lauren is not so out there, it makes sense because they are both brands with a certain class and modern vibe at the same time. The perfume is already available in the US and in the UK, so I’m expecting it to hit the EU market soon.
