I know some of you will think that I’m a full because I’m paying for samples, because these are given as free and so on, but here in Romania samples are not as easy to get. They are not just given out, you get some samples only when you make a purchase and only in larger beauty stores like Douglas or Sephora. I got some samples from smaller companies as well such as Romanian brand Farmec, but not many give them out. Not to mention that you can’t just ask for samples because they would not give them to you.

So, such sample boxes make sense, if you want to try expensive beauty products first before thinking about purchasing them. For my part, I know I won’t purchase anything of the products because they are out of my budge, but I got two sample boxes from Notino because my husband surprised me with a trip for my birthday and we’re staying at the fancy hotel and all, so I wanted to get some samples from luxury products to use during that weekend (plus I don’t have to pack my bag with all my skin car stuff).

This box contains samples from 5 products and I paid 4 euros for them. So that’s just a little less than one euro for a little sachet. I don’t think it’s wasted money, because these are all things that cost dozens of euros each, which is something that I couldn’t afford, especially not with the economy we have now.

So what’s in the box?

Saffe facial wash for oily and combination skin (3 ml)

Biotherm Homme Force Supreme Cream (1.5 ml) – I’m not bothered that this is a face cream for men, although I don’t know why they included it in here, because I will still use it – a cream is a cream.

Biotherm Blue Peptides Uplift Cream for night (1.5 ml)

Biotherm Life Plankton Regenerating Serum (1 ml) – I love products with algae extracts, so I’m very happy for the serum and the cream

Arval Antimacula Clarifying Night Cream & Mask (2 ml) – this is a anti-blemish mask so it’s perfect for me.

Asides for the men’s face cream, I chose this box because all the other products are suited for my skin care needs, so I’m excited to use them all and I know it doesn’t really matter if you use them only once, but like I said, I just want to feel like a princess for my birthday and this is a small act of pampering since I can’t afford to go to a salon.
