When it comes to favorite scents, roses were always my favorite. I added vanilla to my list over the last few years, probably because my husband I also obsessed with the scent, but the rose scent has remained my favorite. I know with roses it’s a hit or miss as many people either love it or hate it. I also don’t like just any rose scent, because I’m not a fan of those that are sickening sweet, but the gentle, floral rose scent has to be my favorite. So, today I want to show you a few things that I’m currently using and that are definitely “rose-lover” approved.

Yves Rocher Rose Scented Shower Gel

The packaging is not much, just a clear plastic bottle with a rose pale label on it and the shower gel itself is clear, but the scent is wonderful. It also contains organic cornflower water, rosemary leaf extract and salicylic acid. It’s one of those shower gels that makes me feel fresh and clean after using it, but that also has a perfume that feels like a flower embrace in the shower. Was that too poetic?

Nesti Dante Rose Soap

This one has a very strong rose scent, although it contains wild rose extract. Wild rose is actually rosehip, so I’m quite surprised that this soap is so strongly scented. I love Nesti Dante soaps and I didn’t have one since at least 4 years although I don’t know why I didn’t get any. I got this one for about 0.50 eurocents because I had a discount coupon and I used it in a Catena pharmacy. Usually, this soap is around 3 euros, but it’s definitely worth it.

This is a triple milled soap, which means that the excess water and air is removed from the soap mixture and all the natural ingredients are well mixed together, so the end result is a smoother soap. I’m telling you, this one feels like a luxury product and it’s just a soap.

Vaseline Lip Therapy Rosy Lips

Finally, something for the lips. This is just good old vaseline with some rose extract in it and it makes the lips so incredibly soft while adding a little bit of rose tint. I’m not a fan of lip products that you have to apply with the finger, but I only use this in the evening before I go to bed. I like that it’s not too sticky and I have no issue whatsoever to sleep with it on the lips.
