I’m starting to review the products that I got in my first Bellebox with a hair care product because it was the first that I tried so far. It’s a heat protection hair spray from the brand Mi Amante. This is a Bulgarian hair care brand that is sold through several online shops, so it’s generally speaking widely available.

Packaging:

This is a full size products, so the bottle contains 150 ml. It’s a simple pink plastic bottle with a sprayer, so it’s very easy to use and I like the cute design.

Texture:

This is a liquid products, so it sprays nicely on the hair, just like any other leave-in treatment. It’s heavily scented, so if you don’t like fragrance in your products, you might skip this one. Personally, I like to use hair care products that are scented because I like that my hair smells nice.

Price and accessibility:

Like I said, Mi Amante products are widely available through several online shops. In the Mi Amante online shop, this heat protection spray is sold for 17.90 euros which is already the price that I paid for the entire beauty box, so with just one product I got my money’s worth. However, if I were to buy it on my own, I think it’s a bit expensive because there are more affordable products that work just the same.

My overall opinion:

I tried the spray only one so far, but it’s enough to see if it works or not. It can be applied on damp or dry hair (I chose the first option) and then you just blow dry your hair.

It doesn’t weigh the hair down, it doesn’t make it look oilier and I think it adds a little bit of texture, so a little bit of volume for thin and fine hair (like I have). It doesn’t contain silicone or sulphates and it provides protection for up to 230 Celsius degrees. It also provides protection even when the hair is exposed to high humidity (which I can confirm because there was a very thick fog this morning when I went to work).

It also reduces fizz and it makes the hair look shiny and healthy. I liked it very much and I think this is a good products, especially for those of us who always use a hair dryer, not to mention other styling tools. Although I’m not completely sold on the price, you don’t need to use much, just a few sprays are enough for one application, so I think it is worth it in the end.
