My first encounter with the brand Bellapierre was 5 years ago when I got an eyeshadow palette in a Lookfantastic box. I remember that I wasn’t impressed with the eyeshadows because they were all shimmery cream eyeshadows and they creased a lot on my eyelids. I decluttered that palette because I didn’t like it as much. So now, it’s time to see if they improved and also to see if I like the face powders more because I got try a loose powder from them and that was ok.
Packaging:

The palette comes in a cute cardboard packaging that contains 6 powders with 24 grams of product in total, so that means that each powder has 4 grams which is a decent size because I do want to use them up and not to have a palette for ever. It doesn’t have any scent, which is nice because I know that not everyone likes scented powders. There are 3 blushes, 2 matte bronzers and 1 highlighter in here.
Texture:
The powders are very fine and feel soft on the skin so they don’t emphasize the skin’s texture. The highlighter does have that sprat overlay on top which I’m not a fan of because it makes you think that it’s a more blinding powder than it really is. Once you get past that first overspray layer (which happens after the first use, the highlighter is more subtle. The shades don’t have any names.

Price and accessibility:
Bellapierre cosmetics are available in certain beauty shops and in several online stores. In the brand’s online shop this palette is sold for 45 euros, which is a lot. Considering that I got this palette in my Bellebox for which I paid only 18 euros I do think this is a great product to have inside, but I don’t think that I would have paid the full price for this. However, if you consider that there are 6 powders inside, I do think that it’s not that bad of a price.
My overall opinion:

These are the swatches. I know you can’t see much, but that’s because some of the shades are very light. On the top row there are the three blushes. The one in the middle which has that swirl design to mix several shades together is the lightest of them all. However, when I’m pale as a ghost during the winter, a blush like that is not half bad. The blush on the right is something I would use when I want something a little bit stronger and the first blush shade is something I would choose for the summer.
The bronzers are two mattes, one darker and one lighter (the lighter one is definitely what I prefer when I’m very pale) and the highlighter has a nice champagne shade that I think flatters almost every skin tone.
I used the palette with the lightest colors for the blush and the bronzer and I was were happy with the subtle definition of my face features that I obtained. Like I said, the powders don’t emphasize the skin texture and they look very natural.
Therefore, I like this palette and I will most likely use it everyday because the effect is very subtle, so it’s suitable for the office and I can always add a little bit more for an evening makeup look.
I would recommend this palette but only if you don’t want bright, powerful shades and you’re into a more natural and subtle makeup look.
