Rilastil Hydrotenseur Anti-wrinkle Lifting Ampoules review

My lovely husband surprised me once again with some beauty products for the Women’s Day and one of those products was a set of Rilastil ampoules since I told him that I did like some of the products that I got from them.

Packaging:

I’m sorry I didn’t take the picture earlier, it only dawned on me to do it after I already used one of the ampules. The box contains 7 ampoules, enough for 7 days because I think one a day is enough. Each ampoules contains 1 ml. There was also some sort of device to help get the serum out of the ampoule bot honestly I didn’t use it, I just broke the little glass bottles and pored the liquid into the palm of my hand.

Texture:

The serum does feel a little bit sticky and that’s why I used it only in the evening. It has a rather oily consistency and it does absorb into the skin, but it is a little bit sticky. Once I applied the moisturizer on top, it felt nice.

Ingredients:

Aqua (Water) • Sodium Polystyrene Sulfonate • Pullulan • PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil • Citric Acid • Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid • Tocopheryl Acetate • Acetyl Dipeptide-1 Cetyl Ester • Butylene Glycol • Sodium Hydroxide • Laureth-3 • Hydroxyethylcellulose • Sodium Benzoate • Potassium Sorbate • Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate • Parfum (Fragrance).

The key ingredient is hyaluronic acid , but the slight oily consistency is probably because of the castor oil.

Price and accessibility:

Rilastil products are available exclusively in Catena pharmacies (where my husband got the ampoules from) and online on Spring pharma. A box with 7 ampoules is sold for around 16 euros, but they were currently on sale for around 12 euros. Either way, they’re expensive for 7 ml of serum. I did enjoy having them like a little beauty treat but I will most likely not repurchase them or at least not often.

My overall opinion:

I don’t know what it is, but somehow these ampoules do work instantly. The skin feels and looks firmer and it’s like a mini lifting for the face when it comes to the fine lines. So there’s probably a reason why this serum is expensive, but I do think it’s worth it, if you can afford it.

Although it’s a little sticky, this serum does work and it the skin feels and looks well hydrated and firm, so I would recommend it and who knows, maybe sometimes when it’s on sale again I will repurchase a box with ampoules for a short skin care treatment.
