Bottega Verde coconut fragranced bronzing powder review

I was interested in trying something from Bottega Verde for quite some time now, but I never actually got around to order something from their online shop because I never saw something that I really wanted and their makeup although it’s considered drugstore, it’s not exactly cheap and I was hesitant to spend my money.

But when they released a bronzing powder with coconut scent I couldn’t resist. I have a couple of bronzers so I didn’t really need a new one, but the packaging was quite, the coconut scent part was appealing to me, the color was supposed to be similar to milk chocolate. So I didn’t have a chance to resist.

First of all, this thing is huge. The compact is as big as my palm and I don’t have small hands. But, it’s not bulky so maybe that’s why they made it so big. And you do get 15 grams of products, while most powders have around 10 grams.

The powder has a beautiful flower design. I like those kinds of details but it always makes me sad when I think that I’ll be destroying it while I’m using it.

It does smell like coconut, but it’s a pleasant scent and not the kinds that you will have all day in your nostrils, just something you get a whiff of before you’re putting it on.

I love the consistency, it’s not chalky at all and I didn’t notice any fallout, but it’s also not creamy. Just a very fined pressed powder. Oh, and it’s matte, so it’s good for people who don’t like shimmer in their face products.

I don’t know how my camera picked up the swatch I made, but the color is on the cooler side, which I love because warm bronzers don’t look good on me. It’s also very buildable, so it’s not a problem if you’re heavy-handed with your make-up and you can control the color intensity.

The bronzer is enriched with vitamins A and E.

The regular price for this bronzer is 94 lei, so around 20 euros, but I got it on sale for 55 lei, so around 12-13 euros. It’s just a little more than I would actually pay for a bronzer, but I figured it’s a powder, it doesn’t go bad quickly and I can actually use it all up even though it’s a large quantity.

From me, the Bottega Verde bronzer gets a 5/5 ♥♥♥♥♥
