L’Oreal Elseve Fibralogy Shampoo and Conditioner review

All-focus

The Elseve brand is known in several other countries as Elvive, but here in Romania we still can find these hair care products under the brand Elseve.

I bought both the shampoo and the conditioner from the Fibralogy line because I have thick hair that often lacks volume, but I don’t like using strengthening hair care products as they are rich in oils and make my hair oily in a matter of hours. I decided to try my luck with these products because I was intrigued by the Filloxane formula. Filloxane is a patented technology by L’Oreal that is supposed to help thicken the lock of hair, adding more body to it and making it more bouncy. Elseve products are very affordable here, not the cheapest, but still drugstore priced.

The hair is very soft and silky after using it and I find it does a good job to cleanse it because I’ve been using for about 3 weeks now and I don’t have any dandruff. My hair also doesn’t feel oily too soon, but I can’t get away for more than 2 days without washing it (this is common for most shampoos that I used so far).

L’Oreal Elseve Fibralogy Conditioner

I alternate this conditioner with a hair mask that I apply once a week. I apply it only about halfway on the length of the hair and not at the roots, I leave it on for about 2 minutes and then I rinse my hair. Of course, I use the conditioner on wet hair, after shampooing.

After more than 3 weeks on using both of these products, I don’t know if it’s just my impression, but my hair does feel a bit thicker and fuller. I don’t think these are miracle products for people who have to deal with hair loss or if the hair is thinner due to diet, hormonal problems or other medical issues, but if you’re like me, and always had thin hair, with very little or no volume, you could definitely give the Fibralogy line a try.
