Since I’ve heard so many good things about vitamin C in skin care products, I’ve been using for a few weeks now a hydrating face cream from Cosmetic Plant. Cosmetic Plant is a Romanian beauty company that creates cosmetics mostly based on natural ingredients. I think I used other skin care products from this brand in the past but I can’t remember if there was anything I liked or not.
This face cream has a very affordable price, somewhere around 5 euros so I decided to give it a try. It’s meant to be used by people over 30, but I don’t always pay attention to this detail. I’m the type of person who used anti-aging creams in my 20s and I don’t regret it one bit because so far I have only a few very fine lines.

The cream comes in a plastic jar, nothing fancy, just like most face creams. It’s white, it has a very light texture which absorbs fast into the skin and it smells a little like oranges, but nothing too overpowering.
Here’s what the producer claims about this face cream:
Specially designed for 30+ skin, the cream smoothes fine wrinkles, improves skin hydration and oxygenation, rebuilds essential fatty acid deficiency, leaving a smooth skin.
Vitamin C Tetra, a stable and highly effective form of classic Vitamin C, has an antioxidant effect, penetrates more easily into the deep layer of the skin, where it stimulates collagen synthesis. It protects against the effects of UV radiation and free radicals that lead to premature aging of the skin.
The active principle of hydration immediately increases the moisture content of the skin and reduces water loss in the epidermis.
The active mineral complex prevents the degradation of hyaluronic acid and skin collagen. Essential orange oil has an anti-inflammatory and tonic effect.
What I think about this product:
I don’t know if I chose the best time to test this cream out because I’m dealing with some acne problems like I always do right at the end of winter – it’s something that occurs each year. However, I don’t think it’s not a good product. I just didn’t notice any noteworthy effects. I might give it a try again during summer and after I deal with my current acne problems. Also, I like the fact it contains 91% ingredients of natural origin and it doesn’t contain any parabens, paraffin or dyes.
if you’re looking something for dull skin and you have normal or dry skin, you can give this cream a try.

[…] I will certainly try more stuff from Cosmetic Plant, because I think they’re awesome. Their Vitamin C Plus face cream that I used during spring was also not bad, I just think it wasn’t meant for my skin […]
