Bellapierre Peach Blossom Eyeshadow Palette review and swatches

All-focus

Like I promised you a couple of days ago, I already got to wear this eyeshadow palette and test out all the colors (because there are only 4) and I already made my opinion on it. What bothers me is that it’s a pretty expensive eyeshadow palette because it’s sold for 28.99 euros on their official website and the quality is not that of a higher end palette. Plus, it’s made in China, which is not something bad I know it means it’s cheaper to make so i don’t really get the price.

Packaging:

The palette comes in a plastic case, that is quite sturdy. It contains 7.2 grams, so the pan size is quite generous. It also has a mirror which is always handy. It’s small, like one of those pocket sized palettes, but it’s not a surprise given that there are only 4 eyeshadows in it.

All-focus

Texture:

There are 3 shimmers and 1 matte shade. They all feel a little powder, but there is not much fall out and they were easy to blend. However, they do smell like cheap eyeshadows, they have that light plastic scent and I’m not a fan of it.

Ingredients:

Mica (CI 77019), Magnesium Stearate, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Silica, Dimethicone, Phenoxyethanol. May contain +/- {Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), Yellow 5 (CI 19140), Manganese Violet (CI 77742), Red 40 (CI 16035).

Swatches:

At first, I didn’t even know the eyeshadows had names, but they’re written on the back of the palette. It is a peachy palette, with some pastel undertones, perfect for spring/summer or for everyone who loves peachy colors.

From left to righ (no primer or filters used, finger swatches):

Dahlia – My favorite shade in the palette and the only matte one. It’s a flattering peachy-rosy color that I think is flattering for many skin tones.

Glisten – I know it looks kind of white in the picture, but it’s one of those antique gold shimmers.

Hawaii – Shimmer peach shade.

Copper Mine – It’s not a brown, but rather a shimmery dark red (more like burgundy color).

Price and accessibility:

Like I said before, I think the palette is a little overpriced for what it is. Although I didn’t see the palette in Romania yet, but Bellapierre cosmetics are available in various online shops.

My overall opinion:

I like the color scheme and the fact that it’s a cute and small palette, but I’m not that impressed with the quality, because I got some creasing on my eyes after 4-5 hours. Also, I’m glad I got to try the Bellapierre brand, but I’m also glad i didn’t pay for this with my own money and I got it in my Lookfantastic box.
