Today I got a surprise at home because I got my beauty box a couple of days earlier than expected. This month, there were two variations available and I got variation 1, although it seems that all unboxings I saw online contained the second variation. There were a few products in there that i would have preferred, but I’m happy with my box either way.

This month, the Lookfantastic beauty box comes in a box again, this time in an orange packaging. However, since there is still no brochure and I didn’t receive any e-mail with a QR code to scan it and find out the prices of the items, but luckily they listed them on their website so I’m guessing it’s all good.

Sleek Matte Me Ultra Smooth Matte Lip Cream in Bittersweet (6 ml)

This is a full size product, worth 4.99 UK pounds. Sleek is an UK brand, but this product is made in China. The color is nice enough and I’m curious to see how it is because I didn’t try any of their lip products. This will probably be reviewed.

Thisworks Morning Expert Hyaluronic Serum (10 ml)

This is a sample size of a hyaluronic face serum from Thisworks. We all know hyaluronic acid products were all the rage for quite some time, so I’m not surprised to see this product in the box. I will put it to use starting from this evening. This product is made in the UK ans is worth 12,33 UK pounds. You can read my review of the Thisworks Morning Expert Hyaluronic Serum on my blog.

So Eco Blush Brush

I’m so happy about this products because I waited for long to finally receive a brush in this box. This is a full size brush, that is eco friendly and vegan. It feels smooth and dense at the same time and the handle is made out of wood. It’s a really beautiful brush, that has a retail value of 7.50 UK pounds.

MONUspa Rose & Lemon Enriched Body Cream (100 ml)

I don’t think this is a full size product, but it’s still a nice size, like a travel size. MONUspa seems to be another UK brand and the product is worth 16.65 UK pounds. You can read my review of the MONUspa Rose & Lemon Enriched Body Cream on my blog.

Myvitamins Hair, Skin & Nails vitamins (30 capsules)

You could also get either this, or the Beauty Sleep variation. This is a food supplement enough for 15 days (you should take two of these daily). It doesn’t say on the bottle where they’re made, so I’m guessing in the UK. These are worth 8.50 UK pounds. You can read my review of the Myvitamins Hair, Skin & Nails vitamins on my blog.

Madara Deep Moisture Regenerating Night Cream (25 ml)

Finally, I got a sample size of this Madara night cream, which I’m happy about because I very much enjoyed their eye cream, so I’m curious to see how this one feels on the skin. The product is made in Latvia and is worth 17 UK pounds. You can read my review of the Madara Deep Moisture Regenerating Night Cream on my blog.

Overall I’m happy with mu box, because these are all products that I will use. My favorite product is the blush brush, but I’m also happy about the skin care items and the Sleek lip cream. I could do without those food supplements, but since they’re for the hair and nails I will take them. They contain mostly vitamin C, so I don’t see what could hurt me. The box has a total value of 66.97 UK pounds, which is very good, considering that you only pay 15 UK pounds for it (or even less for a regular subscription). I got two full size products (the blush brush and the lip cream), two deluxe sample sizes (the body cream and the night cream) and two sample sizes (the capsules and the face serum).

Unfortunately, since I didn’t see the brochure, I don’t have a sneak peak for next month, so I guess the surprise will be even bigger. The other variation of the box included the same Sleek product but in another shade, an Erno Laszlo one-time use eye mask, a soap from Le Couvent des Mimes, a face cream and a face mask from Nuxe (both in sample size), a Balance Me vitamin C serum and a konjac sponge. Considering that I prefer the blush brush over the konjac sponge, I think I’m happier about receiving the first variation of the box!
