I don’t know much about MineTan, just that they are a vegan and cruelty free cosmetics brand specialized in all kinds of self tan products for the face and for the body. At first, I was going to out this mist in my travel bag, but I’m glad I was wise enough to use it first for a couple of times before I made my decision, because it would have been an interesting outcome for my travel photos for sure.

Packaging:

The mist comes in a spray bottle that looks cute with the green color (probably because of the cucumber). The full size contains 177 ml, but I got the mini size (30 ml) which looks exactly the same.

Texture:

It feels just like water on the skin, maybe a little oily. It doesn’t have any color, it’s just a clear liquid and a very light scent.

There are some nice ingredients in there like the cucumber extract, argan oil, macadamia oil, coconut oil, jojoba oil, rosehip oil, grape seed oil and avocado oil.

Price and accessibility:

MineTan products are available in Romania in Douglas stores and in various online shops. This tanning mist is sold for 34.95 euros on the brand’s official website, which is not that bad, but also not that great considering that, if you want to use it on the body, 177 ml doesn’t seem like much product.

My overall opinion:

Simply put, I didn’t like this product. I have used a tanning serum before that I also got from a Lookfanatstic box, but the tanning effect was much more subtle and it gave that radiant glow look to the skin. This tanning mist doesn’t seem to be gradual to me, because you could tell right from the first use that I applied some self tanner. Also, despite all the hydrating ingredients in it, the skin was still a little dry, just like in the case of other self tanning creams I have used so far.

I tried this on my legs instead and the problem with it, it’s that it’s clear and you don’t actually see well where you have applied it, so in the morning I had streaky tanned legs. I don’t want to use it anymore because it’s just too bothersome to apply, so I will get rid of it.

I can’t say that I recommend this or not because I’m not a fan of self tanning products in general, so for me it was not fun at all and I certainly wouldn’t purchase the full size on my own.
