Day 9 was an interesting day because I got some things that I needed even though they are not that exciting. From the Balea advent calendar I got a Magic Is In The Air cleansing gel for face and eye (it’s supposed to also remove makeup). It doesn’t smell like anything, but I would still not use it one the eyes because I prefer my regular micellar water. However, a cleansing gel is exactly what I prefer for the face. The tube has the same cute design (I think all the products will have the same), it contains 20 ml, it’s a vegan product and is made in Switzerland.
In the essence DIY advent calendar I got a 10 Sec Nail Oil with hemp seed oil for the nails and cuticles. It’s not something that I would have thought about buying, but it’s something that I need because my hands are in desperate need for some TLC especially during the winter season. The glass bottle contains 8 ml, it’s a vegan product and is made in Poland.
Finally, from the Sinsay advent calendar I got a pair of earrings. They definitely love their earrings, don’t they? These ones are really cute, like the Christmas wreath ones, as this time they’re in the shape of reindeer heads and they have a little sparkle to them. I love everything that has to do with reindeers, I like that they’re so delicate and cute, so I’m happy to have them.

Day 10 also came with some cool surprises and at this point I don’t think there’s something in the calendars that I wouldn’t like. The essence DIY calendar had a Shine Shine Shine lip gloss and I know I had one or two lip glosses like this in the past and I liked the formula, although they are a little bit sticky. This one is in the shade 27 Your lips but bigger which is a nice rosewood shade and it has a wet finish. The tube contains 5 ml, it’s vegan and is made in Italy.
The Balea advent calendar has given us the Magic Is In The Air Winter Conditioner that goes with the shampoo that we got a few days ago. The packaging is very cute, like the rest of the products. The tube contains 20 ml, it’s vegan and is made in Switzerland.
Finally, the Sinsay advent calendar has given us a necklace, this time with a Christmas tree pendant. I like the design of the jewelry but I’m very disappointed of the quality. I didn’t expect much from such a cheap jewelry advent calendar but the previous necklace turned rusty on me after only one day of wearing it….so, yes, these are definitely jewelry pieces that you only get to wear a couple of times before they change the color and they don’t look shiny anymore.

Day 11 was not as exciting because the products are ok, I will use them, but it’s not something to be completely amazed by. In the essence DIY advent calendar bag was a black eyeliner because what would an advent calendar be without a black eyeliner? This is the essence 2 in 1 eyeliner pen that has two ends, one thicker and one thinner. I must say I already tested it and it’s really easy to use, it didn’t smear on me and I prefer felt tips when it comes to liquid eyeliners, so I will use it. It contains 1 ml, it’s vegan and it’s made in Germany.
In the Balea advent calendar I got a Magic Is In The Air Feet Butter with rosemary and bergamot scent. A feet butter is always useful, especially during the winter season, so there are no complaints here. I just love this cute packaging! The tube contains 20 ml, it’s a vegan product and it’s made in Switzerland.
In the Sinsay advent calendar there was yet another pair of earrings, this time a pair of golden presents bows as far as I can tell, or maybe they’re some kind of flowers, I don’t know. I like them but I won’t wear them because my right ear lobe was so irritated after earing some of the earrings at work for a few days that I don’t have the courage to try them again. So unfortunately they’re useless for me.

Day 12 was one of the best days regarding my advent calendars, partially because I made sure it happened that way. In the essence DIY advent calendar I already knew I put another eyeshadow palette in there, to mark the half-time of the advent season. I got the Hey L.A. eyeshadow palette which was also part of a collection dedicated to some of the most popular cities in the world. The palette is made in China and a review will follow on my blog.
In the Balea advent calendar I found a Magic Is In The Air day face cream with hyaluronic acid, which I’m happy about. Balea face creams have been a hit or miss for me, but usually face creams with hyaluronic acid are most likely fine for my skin. The tube contains 20 ml, the face cream is vegan and it’s made in Switzerland.
In the Sinsay advent calendar I got a ring with a Christmas tree, to go with the necklace I got a couple of days ago. It’s not an adjustable ring, but it fits on my ring finger and at least the rings don’t irritate my skin like the earrings, so that’s good.
That’s it for now, we/re already halfway through the advent calendars, which makes me sad because it’s so nice to have some little surprises to open each day. I just love advent calendars.
