Happy New Year everyone! I hope you will all have a wonderful 2022! Of course, I couldn’t do my empties post yesterday because I was busy celebrating, but now let’s see some of the products that I finished throughout the month of December. I didn’t include any of the products from my Balea advent calendar because I already write my thoughts on them when I presented what I got in each door.

I got the Avon Gingerbread set at the beginning of December because I was expecting some yummy bath and body products with gingerbread scent. I didn’t like any of them because the gingerbread scent was so fake, it was like some random spices mixed together. There was a shower cream, a liquid soap and a scented spritz (that I used as a room spray), but the smell was really a huge fail.
Avon Planet Spa The Ayurveda Ritual Soothe & Balance Face Mask

Turmeric was one of the ingredients that was very popular in beauty masks last year. I had this Indian turmeric and coconut milk face mask and I must say it was ok, but nothing to be excited about. I realized I really don’t like turmeric so I will prefer other types of face masks.
Starskin VIP The Gold Eye Mask

This was an ok eye mask, with meteorite powder (I’m really having a hard time to believe that), but I must say I did feel fancy when I used this on Christmas Eve. It was a fun sheet mask for the under eye area.
Dove Original Spray deodorant

This was the aluminum-free version of the classic Dove deodorant. It works with zinc protection instead and it contains 0% alcohol. I personally like Dove deodorant because they don’t irritate the skin and I also like the classic Dove scent.
Cien Botanic Garden Ginger & Basil Hair Treatment

This was a hair mask for stressed hair that I got from my local Lidl Store. I liked that it had a vegan formula and that it contained natural ingredients and so on but it did had a heavy herbal scent. It was an ok hair mask but I can’t say that I noticed anything special about it. Since it was also cheap (I think about 3 euros, I didn’t have any high expectations).
Burt’s Bees Watermelon Lip Balm

As someone who loves anything watermelon scented, I was very disappointed in this lip balm because the watermelon scent was also one of those fake scents, not the watermelon that smells yummy. Plus, the lip balm felt very waxy and not that moisturizing on the lips, so I don’t get the hype around Burt’s Bees lip balms at all.

I decided to declutter my Jecca Blac Glow Drops and the Illamasqua Beyond Liquid Highlighter because I never use them. They both have beautiful shades and they look nice enough, but I just don’t like to use liquid highlighters and there’s no point in keeping them around.
That was all for the month of December. There weren’t many empties around just because I usually do reviews on almost all the products that I use. I’m excited to see what new products I will discover this year!
