Continuing with this year’s advent calendar, let’s see what other surprises are in store.
Day 9 – Go Green glitter top coat

I think this is a product created just for the advent calendar because I couldn’t find it anywhere on their website. I would have preferred a regular nail polish since I don’t think that I ever tried one from Yves Rocher. However, I can see why they put a golden glitter top coat in the advent calendar, because it’s something suitable for the holiday season. I haven’t tries it yet because I just did my nails recently, but I can see myself applying on top of a red nail polish for a red and gold Christmas manicure. This is a full size product (5 ml) and it’s probably worth as much as their regular top coats, around 5.5 euros.
Day 10 – Pure Menthe 3 in 1 cleanser, scrub & anti-blackhead

I remember this line was launched in 2021 and I used a few of the products at that time which I did enjoy, even though not enough to still keep them in my daily skin care routine. This cleanser was not one of them, so I think I will give it a go in the evening since it can also be used as a scrub. The full size tube contains 125 ml and it’s sold for around 8 euros, so the mini size tube that contains 30 ml is worth 1.92 euros, so I’ll round it down to 1.90 euros. It’s the second cleanser that I received in the advent calendar after the one from the Pure Algue line that I use now in the mornings, so I hope there will be some more interesting products in the next days.
Day 11 – Elixir Botanique Sleeping Care night cream

Finally we got something other than cleanser when it comes to skin care. This is a night cream with a gel texture that contains algae extracts and is supposed to have anti-aging effects. A little does go a long way, so the mini size is going to last for a week since it contains 7 ml. However, I don’t like that it has a sticky feel to it, so it’s good that’s a night cream and not a day cream. The full size comes in a jar and contains 50 ml. It’s sold for around 32 euros, so it’s an expensive cream. The mini size is worth 4.50 euros.
Day 12 – Botanical Hair Balm with jojoba oil

Since I did receive the shampoo a few days ago, it was about time to have a conditioner as well. I didn’t have the chance to use it at the time I’m posting this, but even though it’s for dry hair, I know jojoba oil is nice, so if I use it only on the ends of my hair it will be okay. The full size contains 150 ml and it’s sold for around 7 euros, so the mini size containing 30 ml is worth 1.4 euros.
So, the total value for these 4 days is 13.30 euros and it was a mixture of skin care, hair care and nail care, which is nice.
