We’re almost done with the Revolution Beauty advent calendar, as there are only two things that I would like to review. We’ll start the new year with some lip liners, two of them to be more precise, because there were also two as well as the eye liners.
Packaging:
These seem to be full size pencils, because I looked them up online and they seem to have the same quantity: 1 gram. The packaging is a little bit different from the regular ones, because they’re pink and they have a pink cap.
Texture:

There are 12 shades available and I have the shades Chauffeur and Divine. While the shade Chauffeur does appear online, I couldn’t find the Divine shade, so I just assume it’s made for the advent calendar. The pencils could be a little more creamier as they’re for the lips, but overall they are nice. Chauffeur is a pinky nude (the one below) and Divine is a darker brown. Honestly, it’s not something that I would wear, but the pinky nude shade will be very useful.
Ingredients:
Octyldodecanol, Bis-Diglyceryl Polyacyladipate-2, CERA MICROCRISTALLINA (MICROCRYSTALLINE WAX, CIRE MICROCRYSTALLINE), Aluminum Starch Octenylsuccinate, Isononyl Isononanoate, Kaolin, Paraffin, Silica, Mica, Synthetic Beeswax (Cire D’Abeille Synthetique), Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Wax, Aqua (Water, Eau), Phenoxyethanol, Shorea Robusta Resin, Rhus Verniciflua Peel Wax, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate, Tocopherol, Ascorbyl Palmitate.[+/- MAY CONTAIN/PEUT CONTENIR: CI 77891 (Titanium Dioxide), CI 77492 (Iron Oxides), CI 77491 (Iron Oxides), CI 77499 (Iron Oxides), CI 15850 (Red 6), CI 15850 (Red 7), CI 45410 (Red 28), CI 42090 (Blue 1), CI 19140 (Yellow 5)].
Price and accessibility:
Revolution Beauty products are widely available in all kinds of online shops and some of the products are available in DM stores. In the Revolution Beauty online shop these lip pencils are sold for 3.99 euros each. It’s still an affordable price, but I was unimpressed with them.
My overall opinion:
I rarely use lip liners, just because I don’t have the patience to paint my lips that way, but sometimes they can help to create a clean line, to add some volume and to enhance the longevity of the lipstick. I have few lip liners in my collection, so I’m happy about the Chauffeur shade. The Divine hade is not something that I would use often, but it’s good that I have it because I do have some nude brown lipsticks that I may be using now and them.
Like with other Revolution Beauty products, I can’t say that I’m impressed with the quality, but they’re ok and the price is also affordable.
