I got this BB cream before I decided to opt for cruelty free products and I didn’t intend to review it because of this reason, but I decided that a review could always be helpful for someone, regardless of my shopping habits. I’ll start by saying that I liked several L’Oreal products and I still own some of their products. Heck, one of my favorite foundations was from this brand. However, with this product it’s another story.
Packaging:
The cream comes in a plastic tube and it contains 30 ml. Nothing fancy about that, but it’s what you would expect from a drugstore product.

Texture:
This BB cream has a rather thick consistency and although I have it in the shade Light because I have a fair skin for most of the year, I didn’t expect it to be quite so white. It’s also a type of glowing skin tint, so it looks a little shiny on the face. It has a scent, but nothing too much.
Ingredients:
Aqua / Water, Glycerin, Dicaprylyl Ether, Alcohol Denat., Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Myristyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Alcohol, Prunus Armeniaca Kernel Oil / Apricot Kernel Oil, Glyceryl Stearate Citrate, Stearyl Alcohol, coconut Oil, Butyrospermum Parkii Butter / Shea Butter, Xanthan Gum, Myristyl Glucoside, Cetearyl Glucoside, Benzyl Alcohol, Sodium Benzoate, Tocopherol, Salicylic Acid, Potassium Sorbate, Parfum / Fragrance, Maltodextrin, Neohesperidin Dihydrochalcone, Sodium Phytate, Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil / Sunflower Seed Oil, Limonene, Linalool, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Hexyl Cinnamal, Benzyl Salicylate, Citronellol, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Citric Acid, [+/- May Contain: Ci 77891 / Titanium Dioxide, Ci 77491, Ci 77492, Ci 77499 / Iron Oxides].
On the packaging it says it contains 92% natural ingredients. I usually don’t have a problem with natural or synthetic ingredients as long as they are not damaging to the skin.
Price and accessibility:
As you probably all know, L’Oreal products are widely available everywhere. I don’t know the exact price, because I bought it from a beauty outlet and I paid around 4 euros for it, but I know it’s usually more expensive, like 6 or 7 euros. It’s a fair price for a drugstore product, but for me it wasn’t worth it because I don’t like it.

My overall opinion:
I think this may be the case of me not choosing the right product for my skin type. It has a thick consistency and even if I spread it around and I use a small quantity, it doesn’t blend nicely into the skin. It also has the tendency to “ball up” on the skin, meaning I can see the product gathered in small pieces on the skin and it doesn’t look nice, let alone natural. I think it looks more like a subtle liquid highlighter than an overall skin tint.
I used it on its own, over a primer, I tried using it over different moisturizers, it’s all the same: too patchy and shiny. Maybe it’s better on dry skin, but I don’t know for a fact. I use it now and then in the under eye area to brighten up the skin, but it creases if I wear it for longer.
I don’t know if it’s me or if the product is that bad, but I wouldn’t recommend it and there are certainly better skin tints out there.

One response to “L’Oréal Paris Bonjour Nudista Skin Tint BB Cream review”
[…] go through all the products I have regardless how much I liked them or not. However, this BB cream was simply a disaster and I can’t find any use for it since it flakes so bad on the skin that I can’t use it […]
